This course starts where you have never opened Report Design Studio and ends where you use all of it: palettes, the contrast and colour blindness checks, the look of every visual and its states, and the exports that keep your report and your brand in step.
Each lesson is short and does one job, and each ends with a theme you can import into Power BI Desktop.
What you will be able to do
- Pick, generate or extract a palette and see it on a live report
- Export a theme JSON and apply it in Power BI Desktop
- Check every colour against the 3:1 floor for chart marks and fix the ones that fail
- See your report the way someone with colour blindness sees it
- Style one visual at a time, and buttons and shapes in their hover, selected and pressed states
