This course starts where you have never opened Usage Insights for Claude Code and ends where you can read every number it shows and explain where it comes from. Everything happens in your browser: your Claude Code history is read on your own computer and never uploaded.
Each lesson is short and does one job. Do them in order, or jump to the one you need.
What you will be able to do
- Open your
~/.claude/projectsfolder and see a dashboard of it in a minute, on any operating system - Read your rhythm: active days, streaks, the hours you work, and the projects, branches and languages you spend them on
- See what you built: outputs, lines added and removed, commits, pull requests and how many of Claude's edits you kept
- Follow the money: cost per day, cost by model, tokens, the prompt cache and what subagents use
- List every skill, plugin, MCP server and tool Claude used, with how often and how well
- Tell whether it is working: turn times, API errors, tool success, permission decisions, compactions and where the time goes
- Build a team dashboard from everyone's exports, with small groups hidden and no prompt ever shared
- Look up any metric in the catalog, and save the whole dashboard as an HTML file or a PDF
Who it is for
Anyone who uses Claude Code and wants to see where their time, tokens and money go, and team leads who want adoption numbers without reading anyone's prompts. You need nothing installed: the tool is a web page.
