This course starts where you have never opened Statusline Studio and ends where you know every part of it: what each of the 75 segments reads, how the script works, how to fix it when it shows nothing, and how to build the rows Claude Code shows for its subagents.
Each lesson is short and does one job. Do them in order, or jump to the one you need.
What you will be able to do
- Install a working status line with one command, and put your old one back if you want
- Test your design against a fresh, a busy and a near-the-limit session before you install it
- Pick the right segments for what you care about: context, cost, plan limits, git or your machine
- Style every segment: icon, label, colour, progress bar or a colour that turns from green to red
- Build layouts of up to four lines, split left and right, in columns or in a box
- Read the generated Bash, Python or Node.js script and know what each part does
- Find and fix the reason a status line shows nothing, in one paste
- Build subagent rows, and share a design with a link or with your whole team
Who it is for
Anyone who uses Claude Code in a terminal. You need no scripting: the studio writes the script. The later lessons explain what the script does, for when you want to change it by hand or roll it out to other people.
