Most AI pictures of "a woman in a red coat" look like a different woman every time. Character Prompt Builder starts from the other end: you describe the character once, and it writes prompts that describe them the same way every time.
Open the builder
Open Character Prompt Builder. It starts on the Builder. On the left are its pages: Builder, Ready-made with the seven kinds of character under Kinds, and My characters. Across the top are the six steps, from Identity to Motion, then the finished Prompt. On the right, the Live prompt rewrites itself as you answer, with how much of the character is filled in.
Start from a ready-made character
Step 1 opens with Start from a ready-made character. One click fills in a whole character: Cinematic Portrait, Studio Pet Portrait, Anthro Detective, Animated Hero, War Mecha, Ancient Dragon or Elf Ranger, one of each kind. See all 99 opens the rest, in every kind and art style (the next lesson shows how to find one). Pick the one closest to what you have in mind. Its card is marked, and its picture and name sit at the top of the Live prompt, so you can always see which one you started from. Nothing is fixed: every answer can be changed afterwards.
Want a surprise instead? Surprise me at the top fills the whole character at random. Reset clears it again.
Change what you like
Click through the steps and change any answer. Every question is optional, so skip the ones you do not care about. The live prompt shows the effect straight away, so you can see which words each choice adds.
Copy your prompt
When the character looks right, you have two ways out:
- Copy image prompt or Copy video prompt in the Live prompt panel, for a quick result.
- See the full result, the last step, which shapes the prompt for your AI model and adds the negative prompt and the identity block.
Paste it into your image or video tool and generate. If the picture is close but not right, go back to a step, change one answer and copy again.
What is kept
Your character is kept in this browser as you work, so it is still there when you come back. Nothing is sent anywhere. To keep more than one character, save it to My characters; a later lesson shows how.
