Stats cards break. The free servers that draw them share one GitHub API quota, get rate limited at busy times, and several popular ones have shut down for good. When that happens your visitors see an empty box. Profile README Studio removes the reason: it draws every card itself, in your own repository.
Let the studio draw your cards
Every card in the Stats group is drawn by the studio: the stats card, top languages, contribution streak, trophies, the activity graph, the snake, the 3D graph and the year overview. In your README each one points at a file in your own profile repository:

<source media="(prefers-color-scheme: dark)" srcset="https://raw.githubusercontent.com/you/you/main/profile-assets/card-stats-dark.svg" />
<img src="https://raw.githubusercontent.com/you/you/main/profile-assets/card-stats-light.svg" alt="GitHub stats" />
</picture>One workflow in that repository, profile.yml, reads your numbers from GitHub with the repository's own token and redraws the files every day, in a light and a dark version. Because GitHub serves the files itself, they load as long as GitHub does. The next lesson adds the workflow.
Badges, banners, tech icons and the typing line need no data, so the studio draws them right away and Export gives you them as files for the same profile-assets folder.
Bring an old README over
If your README still uses public widget servers, open Import and fetch it by your username. Every widget the studio knows becomes a block, and those blocks are drawn by the studio from then on. Export the result and the old server addresses are gone.
The Profile Doctor (a later lesson) does the same in its fixed version, and tells you how many widgets it redrew and which servers they came from.
Check your pictures
Once the README, its pictures and the workflow are in your repository and the workflow has run, click Check pictures above the preview. The studio loads each picture from your repository and marks it there or missing, with what to do about a missing one.
Pictures from other sites, such as the visitor counter, are listed but not loaded: the studio never loads other sites' pictures.
Get told when an image breaks
In page settings, tick Watch for broken images (weekly workflow). The export then includes a workflow that checks every image in your README once a week. If one does not load, it opens an issue in your repository titled "Broken images in your profile README", listing each broken image and why. When every image loads again, it comments on the issue and closes it.
Now you find out from GitHub, not from a visitor.
The next lesson adds the profile workflow to your repository.
